Description Umbrella Wattle is a shrub or tree growing from 1 m to 6 m tall. The phyllodes are narrow elliptic, growing from 2.5 cm to 10 cm long and about 3 mm to 15 mm wide. It produces yellow flowers from October to December. Flower heads are produced singly or in twos from the phyllode axils. The flower heads are spherical and about 5 mm to 8 mm in diameter. The leathery seed pods are curved or coiled grow from 4 cm to 25 cm long.
Habitat arid, semi-arid regions
Distribution Umbrella wattle is found in central and southern regions of Australia, and can be found in all mainland states.
