Description Swamp Wattle is a tall spreading shrub or tree growing from 5 m to 10 m tall. Pale yellow or cream flowers are produced in summer between December and February with intermittent flowers at other times of the year. The flower heads are spherical. The green to grey-green phyllodes are narrow growing about 6 cm to 16 cm long and 3 mm to 12 mm wide. The seed pods grow to about 16 cm long and 1 cm wide. The seeds are dark brown or black, oblong shaped, and about 5 mm long.
Habitat hills and ranges in Eucalyptus woodland
Distribution Swamp Wattle is found in south east South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
