Common Name
Spur-wing Wattle

Description
Spur-wing Wattle is a spreading shrub that grows to 4 m tall. The phyllodes are pointed, spur shaped or sickle shaped, growing to about 5 cm long and up to 1 cm wide. The bright yellow flowers appear from August to November. The flowers are produced in spikes up to 3 cm long. The seed pods are twisted and grow to 3 cm to 8 cm long and 2 mm to 4 mm wide.

Habitat
eucalypt woodland, heathland, sandy plains, rocky outcrops

Distribution
Spur-wing Wattle is found in central and southern Queensland and New South Wales west of the Great Diving Range.
