Common Name
Snowy River Wattle

Description
The Snowy River Wattle is a medium shrub or small tree growing to 5 m tall. The bark is smooth and grey. The long, narrow phyllodes are grey green, growing to about 3 cm to 8 cm long and 2 mm wide. It produces profuse globular clusters of lemon-yellow flowers from the leaf axils in late winter to spring. The flowers are scented. The seed pods linear, about 9 cm long and 5 mm wide

Open forest and woodland

Distribution
It is found in the alpine Snowy River region of New South Wales and north-eastern Victoria.
