Description The Slender Honey-myrtle is a shrub growing to 2 m tall. The leaves are small, egg-shaped and grow 2 mm to 7 mm long and 2 mm to 4 mm wide. The plant flowers in spring and summer from November to December. The flowers are purple or mauve and produced in spikes about 15 mm long. The fruit capsules are about 5 mm in diameter.
Habitat heath, scrub in swampy areas
Distribution Slender Honey-myrtle is found in south east of South Australia, southern Victoria, northern and eastern and Tasmania and Bass Strait islands.
