Round-leaf Wattle

Description
Round-leaf Wattle is a shrub that grows to a height of 1 m to 3 m tall. The phyllodes are roundish with a prominent midvein with a point at the tip. Yellow flowers are produced in winter and spring between June and October. The large flower heads are spherical. The brown seed pods form are oblong in shape and about 8 cm (3 in) and 12 mm wide. The shiny black seeds are oval and about 5 mm long.

Habitat
Grows in arid regions usually in shrubland along watercourses, rocky hillsides, valleys

Distribution
Round-leaf Wattle is found in north western South Australia, southern Northern Territory, and central eastern Western Australia.
