Description River Cooba is a bushy tree with drooping branches and foliage, that grows 4 m to 10 m tall (sometimes more). The grey-green phyllodes are long and narrow, growing 14 cm to 40 cm long and up to 7 mm wide. Cream yellow flowers are produced mainly in winter and spring. The flower heads are spherical and 6 mm to 9 mm in diameter. Seed pods grow 10 cm to 26 cm long and about 8 mm to 12 mm wide.
Habitat along watercourses in arid interior
Distribution River Cooba is found in inland arid areas eastern of Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, north west Victoria, eastern South Australia.
