Description Ploughshare Wattle is a sprawling shrub that grows to up to 1 m in height. The phyllodes which are triangular and prickly about 4 cm to 1.5 cm long and 1.5 mm to 5 mm wide. Cream or pale-yellow flower are produced in winter and spring from June to October. The globular flower heads are about 6 mm in diameter, and appear singly in the axils of the phyllodes. Each flower head contains 20 to 30 individual flowers. The seed pods are curved and about 2 cm to 4 cm long and 5 mm wide.
Habitat on rocky hillsides and amongst rocky outcrops in open eucalypt forest
