Description Pine-leaved Bottlebrush is a shrub growing to about 3 m tall. The leaves are narrow and linear with sharp points, growing 4 cm to 10 cm long and about 1 mm wide. The flowers are yellowish green or red and produced in bottlebrush spikes, about 5 cm to 7 cm long and 4 cm to 5 cm in diameter. Flowering is in spring and early summer. The fruit are woody capsules about 6 mm long. The plant is also known as a variety of Melaleuca linearis.
Habitat woodland in damp places
Distribution Pine-leaved Bottlebrush is found in central eastern New South Wales.
