Description Narrow-leaved Bottlebrush is a stiff shrub growing to 3 m tall. The leaves are narrow and linear growing 4 cm to 11 cm long and about 1 mm to 3 mm wide. The flowers are red and produced in bottlebrush spikes, about 5 cm to 10 cm long and 4 cm to 6 cm in diameter. Flowering is from late spring to early summer. The fruit are woody capsules about 4 mm to 8 mm long. The plant is also known as Melaleuca linearis.
Habitat grows in damp places in a variety of habitats
Distribution Narrow-leaved Bottlebrush is found in south-east Queensland, and eastern New South Wales.
