Common Name
Desert Kurrajong

Description
The Desert Kurrajong is a small tree growing to 12 m tall. The leaves are lobed with 3 to 5 lobes, and grow to 10 cm to 15 cm long and 5 cm to 15 cm wide. The leaves are shed in the dry months. It flowers in spring and summer between October and December. The flowers are yellow, bell-shaped, with 5 partially fused petals. The seed pods are dark in colour and about 5 cm long.

Habitat
woodland, grassland, on rock ridges, slopes and sand dunes

Distribution
The Desert Kurrajong is found in north western South Australia, central and southern parts of the Northern Territory, central west of Western Australia .
