Common Name
Box leaf Wattle

Description
The Box leaf Wattle is an erect medium sized shrub growing to a height of 1 m to 4 m tall. The phyllodes that are 1 cm to 4.5 cm long and about 2 mm to 10 mm wide. The flowers are golden yellow and produced in spring and winter from July to November. The spherical flower heads grow in clusters of 2 to 14 from the leaf axils of the phyllodes. The seed pods are straight or curved growing about 3 cm to 7 cm long and about 5mm to 8 mm wide.

Habitat
The plant is found in dry sclerophyll forest, woodland, heath where it grows on sandy, clay or loam soils

Distribution
The Box leaf Wattle is found in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
